Current Issue archive - Dec 08 / Jan 09
Welcome to our first issue! We've packed it out with some wicked content for you and as promised, if it ain't got nothing to do with fashion or music then you won't find it sandwiched between our pages! Here's just a bite of our tasty filling:

<<< CAGE THE ELEPHANT

There’s nothing chicken about this band from Kentucky! With recent hits ‘In One Ear’ and ‘No Rest for the Wicked’, they’re definitely ones to watch. Matt and Brad Schultz talk to Andrew Future about their strict Christian upbringing...and how it did nothing to curb their enthusiasm for music and mayhem.

<<< A SNIP IN TIME WITH CHARLIE LE MINDU

Connie Hart interviews quirky celebrity hairstylist Charlie Le Mindu in his East London home. The French hair connoisseur works mainly with the music industry and has a fascination with locks that led him into extravagant wig design. Apart from snipping away at the likes of Bloc Party, Peaches, Adamski, the B-52s and Jodie Harsh, he’s also dyed pooches to make them look like pandas....

FIVE UNSIGNED

Exclusive interviews with our first five unsigned: No Picasso, Sol Devious, Alex Starling, The Black Lies and Younghearts. All feature two tracks on our FREE CD and have been shot exclusively by Michael Robert Williams around North London’s old Horse Hospital...better known as Proud Camden Bar & Galleries.

SHA LA LAS IN LONDON >>>

One blinding album and two hit singles rotating heavily on Danish national radio has merely whet the appetite for this energetic foursome...now their sights are firmly fixed on the bright lights of our capital. Stuart Gadd catches up with them at The Boogaloo, North London and we bang three of their tracks onto our complimentary CD.
